what i'm up to

last updated

studying

finishing my bachelor's in information systems at TU Munich. deep in coursework and trying to make the most of being in one of europe's best cities for it.

working

working student at BMW since july, on data analytics for high-voltage batteries and charging. i help maintain the preprocessing pipelines and build the analyses and visualisations that turn real fleet data into answers about how electric cars actually get used, and how their batteries hold up over time. python and SQL, mostly. the part that surprised me is how little of the difficulty is the analysis. it's working out what the data is actually telling you before you're allowed to trust it.

building

Hollis. a calm companion that quietly holds your whole life, learns what actually matters to you, and gives you one gentle nudge back toward it, only when it counts. built for the gap between what you plan and what you live. still pre-launch, on purpose. i wanted the hard version working before anyone saw it.

looking for

a cofounder for hollis. i'm solo today, and that's been deliberate. i built the difficult technical half first so that what i'm asking someone to join is a real product and not a deck. ideally someone strong on product and go-to-market, or on applied ML. if that sounds like you, say hello.

reading

The Psychology of Money by Morgan Housel. short essays on why otherwise sensible people do irrational things with money, and how much of it comes down to temperament rather than maths. taking it slowly.

outside

spending weekends in the english garden. going for runs with my little dog friend Archi. always up for a coffee and a good conversation.
